Located in Conroe, TX,  Southern Star Brewery began it's first batch in March of 2008.  We offer a variety beers including a American Pale Ale called Pine Belt Pale.    Also available is a blonde style called Bombshell Blonde  and our delicious foreign export-style Buried Hatchett Stout.  Our Pine Belt Pale and Bombshell Blonde are available in cans with the Buried Hatchet Stout following suit in 12 ounce cans by the end of 2009.  The rest are solely being released in kegs.  Our beers can be found at a variety of liquor stores, bars/ pubs, restaurants, and grocery stores in the Houston, Dallas, Austin, and College Station aress of Texas.  Plus our cans should now be appearing on shelves outside the state including Illinois(Chicago), Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and South Carolina.

Southern Star Goes Green
We have made contact with a new business in town (Let’s Recycle LLC 503 N 1^st street Conroe, TX 77301 713-298-0385) that will finally allow us to recycle almost 100% of the waste generated at the brewery.  We are excited about working with an EPA certified, local company and look forward to a long partnership that benefits both of our companies and the environment at the same time.  This move ties in perfectly with our corporate model of working with local companies and manufacturing in a sustainable manner.
